Westworld Seasons

Big images…

Season 1
The Player Piano Player — a very early robot. One that was hiding out in plain sight in the Old West the whole time.
Originally a male figure, it was made female to reflect the show's two key roles, Dolores and Maeve. As such, she doesn't look like either, nor does she look like Armistice (but closer considering the garb).
A host-making machine. Also a reference to Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian Man.
Robert Ford, the Puppet Master.
Robert Ford talks to Bernard Lowe about evolution and mistakes.
Dolores Abernathy and Arnold Weber (not Bernard!).
Peter Abernathy goes crazy! "These violent delights have violents ends!"

(Why do we never see Dolores' mother, Peter's wife? We see a dead body, but never actually meet her.)
Bernard puts Peter Abernathy in storage. I'd love to know what Bernard whispered into his ear!
Dolores Abernathy and (young) William.
William & Dolores (along with Logan and Slim) rob the Army's nitro shipment.
Ashley Stubbs and Elsie Hughes on the search for the stray host.
Maeve and Clementine in the Mariposa.
Maeve tries to defend her daughter from the MiB.
Maeve and Felix.
Armistice, Felix, Hector & Maeve try to escape.
Maeve is about to escape the island.
The MiB talks to Lawrence about The Maze.
Robert Ford, the MiB, and Teddy, have a meeting.
The MiB (William!) and Dolores.
Ford (with Teddy and Dolores).
Robert Ford gives his last speech.
The MiB (William!) is delighted the hosts are now actually dangerous!
Wyatt!
Season 2
The "Valley Beyond" (aka "Glory") is flooded!
One-time key… one-time pad key? (One of several things that didn't make sense in season two.)
The mind boggles…
The mechanism for the "door" to "The Sublime" was there from the beginning; Akecheta saw it being made. So why is it there back then? Why did Willam — this is his deal — put it there? What's its purpose?!

When Akecheta goes back, the excavation is filled in, but the ramp and pit are there even back then. Ultimately, the hosts walk up that ramp and their bodies fall into the pit. Which was there from the beginning!

(Talk about a season not making much sense. Looked pretty, though.)
The "door" to "The Sublime" in action. Why does it look like a set piece in a college play?
One final game, William. Except, WTF was that game? What "door" was William supposed to find?
"Oh, shit."

Sadly, also a common fan reaction to the season…
